4 mindful ways to drag your child away from the many techno-gizmos and create calm

4 mindful ways to drag your child away from the many techno-gizmos and create calm

Once upon a time (not very long ago) children could be found on the boughs of trees, or below them, throwing stones at the hanging fruits. Often, they could even be found engaged in sporty, team activities. They would play games that included balls and tiles, making human chains and a game in which a hopping player had to tag (physically tap them :)) the running players. In a nutshell, these physical activities helped hyperactive kids shed their excess energy even while instilling team spirit and creativity within them. Today, children engrossed in e-devices are submerged in unused energy that causes a lot of restlessness. Headaches and boredom are natural offshoots of spending too much time on e-devices.

Here are four ways in which you can get your children off those gizmos and make them more mindful:

a) Mandala ColouringPic Source

Colouring mandalas boosts your child’s concentration and kickstarts their creativity. Contact Thriive-verified Mandala specialist Shilpa Desai to know more.

b) Dog Petting

Pic Source

Connecting with an animal emotionally centers most children. Your child will not get enough of the cuddling and the coddling. A most relaxed way of spending an afternoon mindfully.

c) Being in Tune

Pic Source

Musical notes of particular frequencies have beneficial effects so whether it involves playing different kinds of musical instruments (SVARAM) or listening to their fave tunes, music can open up fascinating worlds for your children, emotionally and mentally.

d) Bedtime Tales

And so your child doesn’t go gizmo-cold-turkey, here’s an app to make bedtimes more inviting. Calm is an app you both will love with its bedtime tales for kids.

Here’s What Thriive Art & Soul Can Do For You…

Here’s What Thriive Art & Soul Can Do For You…

Suman Addepali tells us what Thriive is all about

I was invited to speak about Thriive Art and Soul at the Global Festival of Spiritual Sciences, 2017 and the Quantum Energy Conclave2, 2018 where I met several healers and therapists from the alternative healing industry. Here is an interesting conversation I had with somebody post my presentation.

Let’s call her Ms. X.

Ms. X – So, what is Thriive?
Suman – Thriive Art & Soul is India’s largest state-of-the-art, global directory of verified alternative healers and therapists from across 150+ alternative health modalities.

Ms. X – Is this something like the online directory, Practo?
Suman – One could say that we are similar to Practo, because the way Practo registers allopaths or medical doctors on its platform and helps them build their presence under one digital roof, Thriive also registers and promotes verified healers and therapists of alternative wellness modalities.

Thriive also allows seekers to assess health issues, find the right therapist through our search engine and book an appointment. Post the appointment, it permits seekers to rate and review therapists they have consulted.

Ms. X – What exactly do you mean by alternative health modalities?
Suman – In simple terms, Alternative Healing Modalities include different types of holistic healing therapies in the world, which aim to restore the person to health and wholeness. These include holistic approaches other than allopathy, which embrace the belief that nothing is ever broken and there is really nothing to ‘fix’.

Unlike traditional medical models, which aim to cure the symptoms of a disease, alternative healing approaches seek to uncover the innate health and wholeness that lies within.

A few examples of modalities are Holographic Healing, Quantum Energy Healing, Sound Healing, Meditation, and Energy Healing. A single modality like ‘Energy Healing’ can include 18 sub-categories such as Reiki Pranic healing, Theta healing, Crystal healing, Access Bars, Vastu Shastra, Psychic surgery, Feng Shui, and Polarity Therapy, to name a few.

Ms. X – I heard you mention something about spiritual events during the presentation. Does Thriive also conduct events?
Suman – Yes. Thriive hosts an impressive roster of wellness workshops and spiritual events globally, including organizing and promoting its own exclusive events facilitated by world-class wellness experts.

Also, over the past ten years, Thriive has been hosting these festivals and conferences which you are currently participating in, namely the Global Festival of Spiritual Sciences (GFSS) and the Quantum Energy Conclave. These events have been setting benchmarks in creating awareness about the fascinating world of alternative healing, wellness and quantum energy. The above two events are held at Pyramid Valley International, which is Thriive’s very serene campus of 28 acres in Bangalore City.

Ms. X – Do you have any benefit for the layperson, if they visit your site for the first time?
Suman – Quite a few, actually. Thriive Art & Soul houses an exclusive library of guided meditations, videos and audios available for free, to help the seeker explore more of this alternative universe.’s most remarkable feature is a deeply researched Ailment-Modality referencing document that answers queries regarding a host of ailments. Besides the above, we are also launching our E-commerce vertical shortly wherein we will retail never-before-seen products to enhance one’s energy and practices.

Ms. X – So, how can I be sure I am getting the best advice for my particular ailment – for e.g. – If I have a migraine and you suggest the top 3 best alternative cures for me, why should I believe you?
Suman – Our Ailment-Modality referencing document has been verified by the most renowned doctors in the medical and alternative wellness field. The Thriive team has done a good job of collating all of their research and experience and mapping it across ailments after understanding the ‘why’ and ‘how patterns behind these ailments.

Ms. X – So you are a big alternative-wellness website. Sounds like tough work to decide which modality one needs.
Suman – Yes, we are indeed a layered and deep website and have tried to incorporate answers for most questions posed in the alternative wellness world. If anyone wants to find the top 3 ways that they can help their health issues through alternative modalities, and also find verified healers in their respective geographies, Thriive will help them find these healers.

Ms. X – Will this be useful for me as a healer?
Suman – Certainly! Thriive works on bringing healers and therapists closer to the people who truly need them. Our website will promote your modality, your work, and workshops, and flaunt your testimonials, and also enhance your visibility in search results, where people are looking for healers or workshops of the modality that you conduct.

Ms. X – Where can I get more information?
Suman – Please visit our website where you can find a lot more information about what we do and a list of some of our registered healers and therapists. If you’re an alternative healer or therapist, you can sign up for a FREE REGISTRATION.

Ms. X – Sounds good. Thank you!
Suman – You are welcome!

Dancing With The Stars with Thriive’s Global Ambassador Judy Satori – Part II by Sonia Rao

Dancing With The Stars with Thriive’s Global Ambassador Judy Satori – Part II by Sonia Rao

In Part 1, the truth of 2012 was revealed. Now, we learn the secret behind the number 22 and the message from Lyra.
By Sonia Rao

(Read Part 1 here)

22 is the number of the Master builder.

Now, after 2012, there is a much more powerful God Energy coming from the Galactic Centre of 22 galaxies. These galaxies are configured together in the cosmos in the form of a vast multi-galactic diamond. Judy is able to access and bring through a much more powerful God Energy (raised to the power of 22) from the heart centre of these galaxies.

Judy admitted that along with her group at Ladakh she too received an energy upgrade. Where earlier it was about healing and coming into balance, the newest message that came in from the 22 star-systems was that now it was about expanding and regenerating: going beyond the earlier states of healing and balancing and expanding into abundance.

This also includes regenerating our bodies and getting younger. My ears perked up even more on hearing this (more about this topic HERE).

And then, unexpectedly, the most amazing thing happened.

Judy intercepted a message for me from the Star Council, the Council of El Samom, which came from an interdimensional space. I got goosebumps as she channelled the light language, her hand on my heart.

The words, in Lyran, the language of Lyra, the star system from which I have apparently come to Earth, have the power to open up my energy circles and step up my personal potential. Luckily, I have got the messages recorded and every time I hear them they lift up my spirits immediately.

I was having super-duper luck that day (Thank you, Thriive Art & Soul) because immediately afterwards, I also received energy from Lord Ganesh, channelled by Judy, along with a special message (which ofcourse, I am not sharing here☺).

It was an experience of a lifetime.

What does the Universe require of us? To be open-minded and open-hearted enough to hear the messages It (and the star systems) is sending us in order to activate our true human DNA potential. It is about opening into our multi-galactic understanding that we human beings have the capacity and potential to be much more than we have been able to express till now.

We finished the coffee even as a wedding party outside began doing the bhangra in the rain. As I stepped out of the hotel, mentally preparing myself for a long, long walk, I saw an autorickshaw standing just outside the gates. The nodding yes of the autorickshaw driver to take me to my destination was yet another amazing surprise in an evening of strange happenings.

Ganesha’s and El-Samom’s blessings seemed to have started working already.

Dancing With The Stars with Thriive’s Global Ambassador Judy Satori – Part I by Sonia Rao

Dancing With The Stars with Thriive’s Global Ambassador Judy Satori – Part I by Sonia Rao

We thought the world was going to end in 2012 but it didn’t. But something did change.  By Sonia Rao

(Read Part II here).

Judy Satori, Light Language Conduit as well as Regenesis expert, could meet me only after 5:30pm and at the hotel she was staying in which was right on the edge of Juhu beach – THE ULTIMATE DESTINATION FOR IMMERSING GANESHA IDOLS.

Hmmm. It was the second day of the Ganesha festival and past experience had taught me that the roads next to and near the beach would be jammed at that time. Also, it would be almost impossible to get any public transport. The interview with Judy could not be delayed, though.

I would walk back home, I decided. Ganesha knew I could definitely do with a couple of such long walks.

I set off for the meeting, expecting to meet a sombre, gyaan-spouting Master. But the person who greeted me at the hotel was a model. At least that is what Judy Satori looked like. Tall and lissom with a very attractive smile! But when she spoke, her words felt soothing and welcoming, as if we had known each other since forever.

And perhaps that was true as Judy explained star systems to me when we had settled down for a nice cup of coffee each and some gulab jamuns.

Judy is well-known worldwide as a catalyst for human evolution. I was keen for her to tell me what the process entailed.

And she did not hold back. To quote her: “We all come into this Milky Way galaxy as consciousness coming into form, spending life times within it. This journey begins from Lyra, which is a 12 th dimensional star system. From there we step down through different star systems till we finally arrive here on Earth.”

She further added that till 2012, Earth was vibrating on a slower pulsating third dimensional vibration. That was when we would come (over lifetimes) to the Milky Way Galaxy to receive God Energy, which is the creation energy coming from the heart of the Galactic Center of this galaxy.

Now, after 2012, the Earth has begun vibrating on a faster pulsating fifth dimensional vibration.

Wow! This was mind-blowing information. And we all thought the world was going to end in 2012.

The significance of 2012 was tremendous though, apparently because it was also the time of the opening of a cosmic portal called the Stargate of Aldebaran. This has allowed more powerful expanded energy to come into us and into our galaxy. Interestingly, Aldebaran was known by the ancient astronomers to be one of the Royal Stars and is connected with transformation and to new energy coming in.

I wondered if this energy surge could be the reason for the quicker speed of manifestation of the intentions we’ve been setting? Judy said it was entirely possible.

Through the huge windowpanes we could see the raindrops falling and the coconut trees swaying merrily in the breeze. This, Judy pointed out, was Ganesha’s Energy playing out: the magnificent energy of abundance, evolutionary upgrade and transformation finding expression through Nature.

Judy who had just returned from taking a group on a spiritual journey to Ladakh brought up the number 22 once again: the visit to Ladakh took place on 22nd September with 22 people. And we also had an eclipse on the 22nd of the month.

What was the effect of this intriguing profusion of the Master number?

(to be continued…)
