Osteoporosis is a bone condition that makes your bones so brittle that they could break even with the slightest impact. In other words, it is a condition that causes bones to break, lack of bone production or both. It is a condition that progresses gradually. This is generally a condition that occurs in old age and is more commonly found in women than men. Symptoms:
  •     Bone breakage
  •     Chronic back pain
  •     Loss of height
  •     Hunched back
  •     Feeling of isolation

  •     Wrist fracture
  •     Rib fracture
  •     Pelvis bone fracture
  •     Arm bone fracture

Causes Losing bones could be a sign of old age. However, in some people it happens more often than in others: this is a cause of osteoporosis. Here are some signs you should watch out for:
  •     Low Body Mass Index (BMI)
  •     Inflammatory, hormone-related conditions
  •     Family history
Lifestyle moderations One you have been diagnosed with Osteoporosis, you would want to make some lifestyle changes that could help you in many proven ways.
  •     Quit smoking: It is a known fact that smoking causes bone conditions, especially making them brittle.
  •     Regular exercise: We cannot stop stressing on how regular exercise is extremely important. Opt for moderate-intensity exercises like cycling or walking.
  •     Foods: Eat foods that are high on Calcium, Boron, Manganese, Omega-3 Fatty acids, Vitamin K and Vitamin D.
  •     Avoid binge drinking, caffeinated drinks as well as processed, red meat consumption.
