About The Facilitator

Pankaj J Dutta (Bharti) began his journey as a commercial & editorial photographer. His spiritual quest began while working on a photo story on the oral tradition of knowledge of Indian ascetics in 2010. He developed a close relation with Naga Baba Amar Bharti Ji, who is famous for his penance of keeping his right arm raised for 50 years till now. He was initiated as a disciple in 2013 & practiced Hatha yoga under his tutelage. He had spent more than two years after that, living a complete ascetic life & learning to rediscover his connection to nature by practicing yoga in the wild. He had also travelled along with Sadhus to many places along the length and breadth of India to understand the roots of Yoga & present practices. Among the modern schools of Yoga, Pankaj is a certified yogacharya from the Sivananda tradition & he has also worked closely with teachers from the Krishnamacharya tradition. He is also studying KaulaTantra under the guidance of the priests and tantrics of Kula chara tradition of Kamakhya Temple in Assam. His effort is to understand the roots of Yoga &Tantra & to bring authentic practices from the ancient systems & to present it in a manner which is applicable to modern human beings. His understanding of both the old and new practices makes his teachings interesting.
