What is theta meditation?
The theta state is a state of deep meditation and the difference lies in the brain waves that are created in this state. Usually, our brain waves range from 14- 30 Hz per second, also known as the beta state or the awake normal state but in the theta state, the brain waves go as low as 4- 8 Hz. Which is as good as a sleeping state where your mind can tap into the deep subconscious and open the doors to creativity, peace, and awakening.
Theta is a state of deep meditation, it is the state we are in before we start dreaming or drift towards deep sleep. Our brains and bodies react very aggressively to music and hence making someone listen to a particular wavelength of music can get them into the same frequency as of the music. According to a study, it is proven that binaural beats help the brain synchronize with the lower frequencies and hence help an individual calm down and reach the theta state.
Now, there are many ways to attain the theta state of mind but the most useful one is practice. It will take a lot of hard work and concentration for you to reach a state of deep meditation but it is not impossible.
