Twinkle Talwar

Twinkle Talwar, a trained Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Folk and Belly Dance, quit her high paying corporate job to pursue her dream of popularizing the fading Folk and cultural forms of India and various countries. An ardent fan of Yoga and all things Indian, she discovered the concept of Folka Fitness on one of her journeys to a small village of India. She was surprised and happy to see even a 95 year old granny happily grinding flour through a traditional equipment called Chakki, women still pulled water off wells and had strong arms for sure. Come evening, they would all dress up in full glory and set to play traditional dance form named Garba with full joy and energy.

Hence took birth, the concept of Foka Fitness, a combination of Folk, Classical, Tribal dances in combo with day to day Village activities, alongwith came the sub forms like Shiva® Fitness ,Mahabali® Workout and classical potpourri.
