Yoga has often been thought of as a practice for adults, however, more often than not, kids need it more! This is because during the growing stage, kids go through a phase of intense learning and Yoga can have a calming effect on the mind and helps maintain their physical flexibility that often erodes as we grow up. Most kids also struggle with low attention spans and Yoga can be extremely beneficial in sharpening their concentration. Kids yoga enhances self-expression, boosts self-confidence and since it’s usually a group activity, it forges collaborative effort.
